This module includes Corporate Finance and Corporate Governance. Corporate Finance aim to analyze listed company?s financial status based on statements. It will also cover the differences between Chinese and Foreign listed companies. It will also discuss acquisition and merging modes, analysis the problems when company goes to foreign market, agency, option and theory. Corporate Governance is to provide a solid understanding of corporate governance from an international perspective, drawing from the perspectives of academics, regulators, practitioners and policy-makers. The module will include an overview of corporate governance and corporate governance mechanisms that help control managerial behaviour, different ownership structures, models and systems of corporate governance internationally, policy responses of different countries to corporate governance concerns, board of directors, board committees, external and internal auditing, executive and director compensation, disclosure and transparency, and communication with investors.
