Navigating the Boundaries Between Science and Policy

This science and policy module is focused upon giving students particular skills in linking geographical science (both physical and human) to management and policy changes. Areas of focus include developing salient projects, partnering with decision makers, synthesizing existing findings, building local capacity, engaging in political and management processes, involving non-scientists in data collection, developing key scientific messages, and communicating science to the general public.
