What Makes a Leader

This module is a multidisciplinary study of the constitutive ideas of leadership in today’s constantly changing society. It focuses on the transformative process of what is required to be a leader in a given time in local, Asian or global contexts. Students will choose leading figures as case studies, and examine the factors that have made them leaders in the relevant sector. Therefore, students investigate the constitutive interaction between a leader and his/her personal, social or political environments and how this creates new leadership traits in the broader society.
