It covers topics such as interpretation and analysis of standard financial statements, the types of players and instruments in the financial markets and the basic framework of a business investment market.The course will employ a hypothetical simulation where lawyers advise on several proposals involving the acquisition and disposal of assets by a client. The issues covered in the hypothetical will include asset valuation models, financing options and techniques, and compliance with accounting and regulatory frameworks.
