Anatomy and Physiology I

This module will develop knowledge and understanding of the normal structure and function of the human body. Following an introduction to the basic principles of anatomy and physiology, learning will take a ‘tissues to systems’ approach to guide student learning. Body systems covered include: integumentary, musculo-skeletal, digestive, renal and cardiovascular systems. Knowledge of these systems is fundamental to, and underpins, the nursing practice modules for this semester.
